EASTMAN TIMER

EASTMAN KODAK CO.
ROCHESTER, N.Y.

PATENTED April 27, 1920, Nov. 29, 1921, MADE IN U.S.A.

C H STOELTING, CO. CHICAGO, ILL. U.S.A.

Originally made as a timing device for cameras (or so I've been told) and then darkroom use, they were picked up by the military for use as bomb timers. Most of us have seen the old cartoons where they seem to use an alarm clock attached to sticks of dynamite - the classic "bomb" look. Well, I imagine its because of these.
This one belonged to VI-B-1-5 and surprisingly, was never detonated. It's because of their intended use that I suspect there are not many surviving examples of these around.
I am interested to learn more so if you have any info, or own one of these yourself, shoot me a line at frenkenstien at yahoo [com] - Of course you will have to type that email address properly and not how I did it here. Thanks!
